Well, as promised here are some pictures of the progress in our basement. Good times...
In the beginning... Here is where our guest room was. A queen size bed on a carpet remnant amongst all of our unused crap (not pictured).
J.R. and my father in law, Jim, putting up a wall. The next steps were very noisy. Jack cried, so I took him upstairs.

Jack came back down after all the noise was over to check out the progress.
He's pleased.
